Inspired by the titles and headlines from men's pulp magazines from the 1950s, 60s and 70s this series of mixed media collages look at the absurdity of the headlines and the gender definitions applied from the period. The headlines and themes are rearranged to create something even more absurd than the original while abstracting and obscuring the ideology that was the backbone of the original "clickbait" on display in every grocery store magazine rack throughout the United States. The images collage multiple figures, reassembled headlines, abstract lines shapes and forms with symbols to establish a new narrative for the viewer.
