Memories Erased

Using family snapshots I began working on a series of images that deal with memories from my childhood, as well as the loss of family members. It's interesting to me how memories change over time, and how when you see an image things aren't pictured quite the way you remember them or thought them to be. There are people that are obscured in this series on purpose. The black and white images have recolored based on what I remember from the time. Nothing is truly accurate, because as the marches on, your memory plays tricks on you, and that's OK.
